Introduction

In the Student-Run Clinics, students from various European countries will organize online international meetings in order to discuss aspects of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics of real, but anonymized, patients. The main objective of these clinics is to set up international collaborations between students (in training for all types of healthcare prescribers) and CPT teachers. This will not only enlarge the students’, but also the teachers’, insights in the (cultural) differences in prescribing between European countries. The clinics will stimulate learning from each other and will ultimately better prepare students for prescribing in practice. The international learning aspect of the clinics will also optimize the students their opportunities for future exchanges or working abroad.
